Welcome to the realm of immersive digital experiences! I'm Thomas Orenz, a seasoned expert with over 23 years of hands-on involvement in creating captivating VR, AR, MR, and XR solutions.

My journey began in 2000 after graduating with a diploma (in cooperation with IFS Design Berlin) in industrial design from Burg Giebichenstein University of Art and Design Halle, where I acquired invaluable skills and knowledge.

Having worked with renowned organizations such as Ferchau (for VW AG), 3DExcite (for automotive and aviation), ALTEN Group (for BMW Group), McCANN (for Opel), United Digital Group (for Porsche AG), and the Bertrandt Group (for Audi AG), I've had the privilege of collaborating with industry giants to drive innovation and redefine digital experiences.

In 2012, I joined Audi AG, where I played a pivotal role in leading the development of pioneering visualization solutions, including the world's first cloud-streamed 3D configurator and the transformative Audi VR experience for Audi City.

Throughout my career, I've been driven by a passion for pushing the boundaries of immersive digital customer experiences. From overseeing the Porsche website worldwide, where I led multiple award-winning projects resulting in 4 web specials and 10 prestigious awards including the Communicator Award, Summit International Award, iF Communication Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, and the Golden Award of Montreux, to spearheading award-winning omnichannel initiatives at Lucid Motors, my track record reflects a commitment to delivering outstanding results and driving innovation in the automotive marketing landscape.

At Lucid Motors, my entrepreneurial spirit and innovative mindset led to the creation of award-winning omnichannel experiences. Notably, this work received the "Best Online/Ecommerce Experience" accolade at the Automotive Marketing and Communications Awards. This achievement was a testament to our pioneering efforts, which included the implementation of anonymized user behavior tracking for personalized experiences, the global rollout of the world's first ray-traced and  

cloud-streamed interactive 3D car configurator, and the introduction of groundbreaking features like the remote car configurator Lucid Studio Live platform and 3D volumetric video for retail VR and Web.

Furthermore, my contributions at Audi encompassed several world-first achievements, including the rollout of Audi City digital showrooms, showcasing e-tron machine learning concept at CES, and launching 4K in Dealer Car Configurator globally.
